Six Jeur or Sé Jeur – A natural terrace with a 360° view

To reach this enchanting spot, start your journey aboard the VerticAlp Emosson funicular, continue with the panoramic train and then take the mini-funicular up to Emosson.
Once at Emosson, follow the marked hiking trail towards “Six Jeur”.

This path is quite rocky and uneven – make sure you wear sturdy shoes and have a sure footing.

Your hike begins with a 90-metre ascent. Soon, you’ll arrive at Six Jeur, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the valley below, the Emosson dam and its turquoise lake surrounded by majestic mountains, the village of Finhaut and the Trient Valley. You can even catch a glimpse of the distant Rhône Valley!

After this panoramic break, the trail descends about 240 metres towards Les Montuires, where the terrace of the VerticAlp Café invites you for a well-deserved rest.

At Les Montuires, you can board the funicular again to return to your starting point at Le Châtelard.
