This spectacular hike links the Émosson Dam to La Creusaz (Les Marécottes) via the remote Col de Barberine (2,478 m) and the unspoilt Emaney Valley.

Starting from the dam, the trail climbs gently through dramatic alpine scenery to reach the Barberine Pass, offering sweeping views of the surrounding peaks.

After crossing the pass, the path descends into the peaceful Emaney Valley – a hidden gem filled with mountain streams, alpine meadows, and wildlife.

The trail ends with a gentle climb to the cable car at La Creusaz, offering a smooth ride back down to Les Marécottes.
