Emosson - Les Montuires

Via the forest trail

Cover the distance between Emosson and Les Montuires (the upper funicular station) either uphill or downhill on a forest path:

• Uphill from Les Montuires: 1.5 km – 160 m elevation gain – approx. 35 min
• Downhill from Emosson: 1.5 km – 3 m elevation gain – approx. 25 min

Via the mountain trail

For more elevation and a true mountain feel, follow the path via Sé Jeur (Six Jeur) at 2,061 m:

• Uphill from Les Montuires: 1.7 km – 240 m elevation gain – approx. 55 min
• Downhill from Emosson: 1.7 km – 100 m elevation gain – approx. 45 min
