Randonnée pédestre
Crossing from Emosson to La Creusaz via the Fenestral Pass
A varied hike for those who love elevation and wilderness
Set off on an unforgettable alpine traverse between the iconic Émosson Dam and the peaceful village of Les Marécottes.
The trail begins with the scenic Mont-Blanc Balcony Path, leading to the Fenestral alpine pasture, high above Finhaut.
From there, a winding path through alpine meadows brings you to the Fenestral Pass (2,453 m). Take a break and soak in the view – one last glance at Mont Blanc – before descending into the wild Émaney valley, passing the remote and beautiful Lake Blantsin.
To reach the hamlet of La Creusaz and the cable car down to Les Marécottes, follow a gently descending trail along the mountainside through a sparse forest.
A pristine, panoramic route – ideal for lovers of nature and unspoiled alpine landscapes.
